Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Psychologist Goutham, we value your time and commitment to therapy. This policy outlines how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for online and in-person sessions.

1. Appointment Cancellations

We understand that life can get unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance may be rescheduled to a later date at no extra charge.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may be charged in full, except in genuine emergencies (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis).

2. Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

If a client does not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session fee will be charged in full. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of further bookings.

3. Refunds for Online Payments

Payments made through Razorpay are processed securely.
Refunds, when approved, are initiated within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
Transaction or service charges (if any) applied by Razorpay or your bank are non-refundable.

4. Therapist Cancellations

In the rare case where Psychologist Goutham must cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be notified promptly, and the session will either be rescheduled or refunded in full.

5. Package Sessions or Prepaid Plans

If you have purchased multiple sessions as part of a package:

You may request a refund for unused sessions only.
Sessions already completed or missed cannot be refunded.
Refunds for packages will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

6. Emergency Exceptions

We recognise that medical or family emergencies may arise unexpectedly. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled with compassion and discretion.
